Sometimes I am surprised that there is just enough comfort, pleasure, laughter, peace, (insert word) to hypothetically share something with someone, and know how they would react, to make it O.K. that you can't actually share it with them. It's not a replacement, but it's a small solace that sometimes makes a world of difference.
